Pre-activities for the Paralympic Day in Our School
Our school has joined the programme "Paralympic Day in School" organised by Latvian Disabled Children and Youths Sports Federation under the guidance of Latvian Paralympic Committee. Two years ago the programme was supported by the USA Embassy in Latvia. We had a guest in our school - the embassador of the USA in Latvia.
In May our school is going to organise a similar event, therefore students from classes 3 to 5 had the opportunity to take part in some of the activities.

Presentation of Lapta
Students from classes 10. and 9.a tried out the game and they liked it very much. It was fast, exciting, full of energy.

Lapta (Russian: лапта́)
Our students have found the description of a traditional Russian game Lapta. There are even national championships of this game in Russia and they are very proud of it.
